DEKALB adds another elite hybrid to its Line-up!
DEKALB brand 72-65 RR has been officially registered! 72-65 RR is a new broadly adapted hybrid that has demonstrated exceptional yield potential in field scale testing; in 2008 72-65 RR showed a better than 2 bushel per acre advantage over 71-45 RR across 11 mid and long season FACT sites. 72-65 RR also offers a strong R rating for blackleg and very high oil content. Introductory volumes have been produced for 2009 planting.
This exciting new hybrid adds yet another elite hybrid to the DEKALB brand’s 72 series; joining the DEKALB brand’s newest Yield Ready hybrid - 72-55 RR, and the DEKALB brand’s new early season hybrid - 72-35 RR. Having now launched 4 new hybrids in the last 12 months the DEKALB pipeline continues to demonstrate the benefits of its indutry leading hybrid breeding investment.
